What does your neurologist think? I am in my 50s and not sure how long I need to stay on treatment either but I was more recently diagnosed. My neurologist said after five years of no new activity maybe ok without.

It’s your choice in the end, but like @messy100 noted, what does your neurologist think? I would ask and clarify before making a change like so
