Tingling and numbness in the feet 🙄ðŸ˜
I need help, but I’m new. I was recently diagnosed in December 2025. I don’t start my DMT (Tecfidera) until this week coming and am still waiting for the next one to be approved. Anywho, my feet have just started to go numb and it’s more of a nuisance. This is me reaching out to those who have been here before me, any advice or suggestions on footwear?
Good morning. This numbness and tingling unfortunately is normal with MS. Wear what is comfortable for you. I wear sneakers all the time. Certain rubber soled flats tend to cause me to trip. So when shopping try on and walk in them. My right leg and foot is perpetually swollen so can’t wear any of my dress shoes. I wear sketchers and have gone from A A width to Med and Wide to accommodate the swelling. Be blessed. 😀
Once you receive your meds you'll feel better but that numbness and tingling will most likely always be there
