Pregnancy & MS
I have always maintained pregnancy caused my MS. I had 2 attacks with 2 pregnancies & nothing since (although I still have a few remnants of MS in me!)
My MS nurse said she'd heard that before.
Is pregnancy-caused MS a thing? 🙂

“Caused” is a hard word for this. The current understanding of ms is that it is a combination of genetic predispositions as well as environmental factors. I like to think of it as we had the right combination of “levers” pulled and it “awakened” our ms. Pregnancy was probably your final lever to win the ms jackpot. I am glad your ms is in remission but once you have it, it’s never truly gone, sadly. But maybe they will cure it one day!!
I'm pretty sure it didn't cause mine
