'Reactive Depression'?
I've been suffering the worst flare ups I've had since my symptoms started and it's getting me really down - I don't have confidence to things like go out on my own, I just feel like I can't trust my body. My MS nurse has told me I am suffering from 'reactive depression', does anyone else feel a major impact on their mood during/after a flare up?
absolutely. it's totally understandable when you can think about it objectively. but at the time, it's all-consuming 😞 frustrating, sad, exhausting...
I remember the first two years after dx was the toughest I won’t lie, I think I was just getting used to the disease but, it did get easier in the following years. Hang in there, you’ll be fine. 💐
