Lack of accessibility :(

I had an appointment today with the MS team, they were going to talk about how to self injection and etc. But unfortunately my morning appointment at 9am was cancelled due to no interpreter. They had an opening at 2pm which they confirm an interpreter will turn up. But on my arrival, I found out the appointment has been postponed. It is really stressing me out as I want to start the process with the treatment but lack of accessiblity affecting my health. It is not the hospital fault. It was the interpretating agency I just feel the need to get it all out here. Happy Monday everyone. Moona

I can see why this is both upsetting and frustrating for you, @missmoona . Who arranges the interpreter? If it's the hospital, then they need to do a better job with these arrangements. Your hospital should have a Patients Advice and Liaison Service (PALS). See if you can contact them, by an acceptable method, to oversee these arrangements.

@Hels99

That is frustrating. Hope they sort out a new appointment for you quickly!
