Something new :(

I went to get out of bed and fell. It was as if my legs just were gone. I have had my foot do it once and fell when that happened and that ankle is still healing. I had never had the entire legs feel as though they weren’t there. Now I have lots of bruises a very sore knee and wrist. Has anyone else had this happen? I fear the progression is hitting high gear and I am scared to death.

This happens to me sometimes, first time my wee girl was crying through the night, i woke up quite abruptly, got out of bed and just collapsed. Legs didn’t work for a few minutes. Then came back to life. Quite scary. Now, when I wake up I sit at the edge of the bed for a wee while, let everything wake up and stand up slow. Find that helps. But sometimes they (the bastard legs) have different ideas. All part of the MS fun. lol.

So sorry to hear about your fall. I was watching an MS physio who recommended stretching our legs and feet before getting up. I'm trying to make a conscious effort to do it and it's helping tbh. Obviously this can't help with the bruises but maybe worth a try moving forward?
