Question
How did you get your medication? I was using Kesimpta, but now with the start of the new year, I had to change insurance providers, and everything changed. I'm still looking for a neurologist, and I can't find the medication. The prices are insane! Who can maintain a decent life paying such exorbitant prices? And don't even get me started on appointments with a specialist; they take weeks, even months, by which time the symptoms are getting worse. This is madness! 😪😩😭 I just sad and worry for my life

@Marybel You need to see a neurologist who will prescribe you Kesimpta (DMT) and for walking Baclofen and Dalampridine. Use ZocDoc app to find a neurologist, read reviews from patients and even schedule an appointment via the app. As far as costs, my last DMT costed more than my condo where I live. That alone is the main reason they have NO INCENTIVE to find the cure. Insurances are also a BS scam that squeeze people to make choices between eating or living. The system will continue doing this criminal thing until we, the payers, unite and refuse to pay them. I didn't know the peoples' is for profit. What incentive the insurance have to keep you healthy???? I am sorry for my rant, but I get passionate about living in the # 1 country in the world with terrible medical system. Good Luck!!!
I can relate. I’m with an HMO that doesn’t cover a lot of higher efficiency/expensive DMTs. I hear other people say there are programs to cover costs directly from the drug companies so that is one possibility. Also, if you are concerned about a flair use the ER or urgent care there must be a way to get services in the meantime 🤞
