Mindset Monday

MindfulMonday “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him...” — Job 13:15 These words are often quoted, but here’s what Job didn’t know: It wasn’t God who was slaying him—it was the enemy. Job spoke from a place of pain, unaware of the conversation happening in the heavenly realm. But we know better now. 📖 “The devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8) The attack was launched by the enemy—but God set the limits. For Our Spirits 💛 We will be wounded while worshipping. Weapons will be formed against us but they shall not prosper and undo God's purpose in our lives. Those with great faith are often the first ones targeted. The enemy isn’t just after your comfort—he’s after your conviction. Yet even in his agony, Job declared: “Yet will I trust Him.” That’s not blind faith—it’s bold faith. And for us today, that means trusting God even when the storm feels personal. It’s knowing that while we may be wounded, we are never abandoned. 📖 “The Lord preserves the souls of His saints… He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.” (Psalm 97:10) 📖Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) But God Will Restore Job’s story doesn’t end in loss—it ends in restoration. 📖 “And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” (Job 42:10) God doesn’t just replace—He redeems. He restores not only what was lost, but what was promised. The same God who allowed the test is faithful to finish the testimony. For Our Minds 🧠 Awareness is power. When you understand the difference between testing and torment, you can walk through trials without losing your peace, your purpose, or your identity. 💭 Reflection What are you trusting God for—even while in pain? Where have you mistaken God’s silence for His absence? And how has your faith grown through what was meant to break you? 🧩 Coaching Tips Know the source of the storm. Clarity helps you fight wisely. Don’t blame God for what the enemy initiated. Worship is a weapon. You disarm the enemy by staying in position—faithful, grateful, and grounded. Stay rooted in truth. The presence of pain doesn't mean the absence of God. Expect restoration. Don’t just survive—prepare for the double portion. Stay anchored. Stay aware. Trust anyway. Wounded—but worshipping. Tested—but preserved. Broken—but becoming whole.
