US Disability Qualifications

I used to be a white-collar professional, but my brain fog stupidity and memory issues made that unbearable. I left the Office environment and became a substitute rural mail Carrier. It’s something I love doing, and provides me access to health insurance benefits. The perfect semi retirement gig until I qualify for Medicare. Physical symptoms have increased greatly over the last couple years. Left sided weakness, drop foot, foot neuropathy, and fatigue. The frequency of days in which I do not feel safe carrying large, awkward, or heavy packages up front porch steps or over uneven/ snowy/ icy ground is increasing. And now I have twice gotten lost on routes I’ve been driving consistently for 10 years. Don’t think I should keep pushing for 4 more years until I qualify for Medicare. Any insights anyone can provide would be appreciated.
