First Neurologist Appt
Hello everyone! My wife was diagnosed with MS a few weeks ago and we have her first appointment with a neurologist at an MS Center coming up. We are putting together a list of questions for the neurologist and I am wondering if anyone can share any questions or concerns to bring up to the neurologist that they wish they had spoken up about at their first appointment? Thanks!
Ask about frequently of monitoring eg MRI scans, monitoring/ measuring progression. DMTs available ( then request time think about what is best for you and your wife. Depending on whether your health system is insurance based or in Uk NHS costs / medical insurance ( sadly)?can be a factor. Ask about support available via MS charities, alternative therapies ( I find Oxygen Therapy very beneficial, even though my neurologist says it’s ’old fashioned!).
