UK šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ Pip declined

So frustrated right now , one person deciding if your worthy or not makes my blood boil 😔. Multiple sclerosis, ibs, diverticular disease, visual vertigo , vestibular migraines , general anxiety disorder, don’t seem to be enough . I never asked for these . I’ve never asked for help . Battle daily with the vestibular & bowel issues yet coz I can walk , not missing a limb and can fluently communicate through life and know a lot about my conditions then im apparently not brain dead enough . I feel like the woman on the phone assessing didn’t listen to a word I said and changed the narrative and twisted the plot to their own agenda . Their letter ā€œ decision ā€œ was full of lies , and absolutely not what I said . Feeling deflated , shouldn’t have to fight these people when we are already fighting to live with our conditions . Born and bred uk worked and paid tax’s then when u ask for help because the gods decided to land you with shit health , you get treated like your lieing from somone on the other end of a computer that knows nothing about how u feel . Arseholes .

100% go for mandatory reconsideration…. There is a high percentage of MR’s that easily overturn the original decision…. I’m not sure how accurate the information is now but I know, for fact, that when PIP first took over from DLA, the ā€œassessorsā€ that had no medical expertise, recieved a bonus for every declined application and there was no consequence if the decision was overturned. They didn’t even have to give their bonus back šŸ¤¬šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«.

I was declined the first time I applied for PIP. Ask for a 'Mandatory Reconsideration'. Get someone from Citizens Advice or someone else with benefits knowledge, to help you apply. Failing that take the DWP to a Tribunal. I've done both myself before and got the DWPs decisions overturned. So don't give up and keep going.
