Do you need to take steroids for the first dose of Ocrevus?

My neurologist mentioned they usually do that before especially for the first dose. And I will genuinely refuse to take steroids. My hair is my world and steroids cause acne and temporary hair loss and that will send me into a deep depression and worse too. So can I refuse steroids ? Because then I need to chance my treatment plan which sucks

Unless they didn’t tell me about it no I had no mention of steroids for mine just Benadryl

I have had ocrevus about 8 times now and never had any steroids just some paracetamol before the treatment starts it's a piece of cake please don't worry about.
