Kesimpta side effects
I took my first dose of Kesimpta yesterday. A few hours later I was drowsy for the rest of the day and 9 hours after taking it I had flu like systems. When I take dose 2 next week I was going to take it before bed to sleep away the drowsiness but I don't want to wake up and deal with the flu like symptoms (I would rather fight the drowsy and sleep away the shivers and sweats). Anyone who has experienced this with Kesimpta, has the time period of side effects been the same or did it change? Do they lessen over time as you take more doses?
I was warned about the first 3 loading doses , 1 hits like a tank , 2 not as much as the 1st, 3 not as much as the 2nd . Me personally had no side effects whatsoever so I could be in the jammy sod club ! 🤣 take it out the fridge half hour before u inject , dose up on paracetamol and do it just before bed . Hopefully you’ll wake up fine x
I took my second dose at about 6pm so that everything would hit about 12 when I’m a sleep. I feel it helped. I took my first few doses like that and all was good. Now I take whenever and it doesn’t affect me really.
