Your opinion is imported to me

Hello, friends. Due to recent events in my life, I would like to know how you feel about comparisons involving people with multiple sclerosis. Do you find them offensive, or do you prefer to stay neutral?
@St1gzy

Depends what the comparison is. Take yourself for example, you’re on a high-efficacy treatment like Ocrevus, so comparing your future directly with someone else’s MS journey from decades ago isn’t necessarily helpful. MS in 1970 isn’t the same proposition as MS in 2026. Treatments, monitoring and understanding of the disease have moved on massively. Even between two people diagnosed today, MS can behave completely differently. Compare when it’s useful, but don’t use someone else’s story as a crystal ball for your own.

We are all snowflakes ❄️!! Different damage for each of us, do comparing us is NOT OKAY! I have a lot more damage than some folks, but I am much more mobile than them. So, comparisons are ill advised, and just plain rude!
