Seizures??
I’ve heard that some people with MS deal with seizures. I’ve been experiencing odd things. Such as today I was sitting on my bed and wanted to get up to hang my clothes but I physically felt like I couldn’t move. I was staring out and was aware but felt almost locked in my own body. I’ve had this before a handful of times where I just feel like I’m locked in my own body and staring out into the world - fully aware the whole time though. I’m going to talk with my neuro about this but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this before and if so have you been diagnosed with seizures?
AFter having MS now Progressive form, they used to say I had 3 or 4 diff types of seizures, including epilepsy. After 3 decades the bad ones have gone away, I as aware, but body would go into jerking on one side. I now only have Focal Aware seizures, last about 2 mins, just staring but know what's going on around me and I have sudden feel like I am falling backwards when I am not and I am seated. I forget the name of that one as over 30 yrs they change seizure names and I now just call them Aura's
Remember you’re allowed to become ill with other stuff, it may not always be MS related. Best advice I had from a neurologist was, ‘don’t blame everything on MS!’
