Relapse after diagnosis

So I am starting a relapse after being diagnosed in Feb. I have only had one infusion in May and the bloodwork i had from my follow up at tge end of June has shown more nerve injury regardless of the infusion. They have put me on high oral dose steroids and pushing to get me in for MRIs but im scared. I have noticed patterns to signal a flare so thats extremely helpful but this also all feels so lonely. Like I feel like im going to be to much for people to deal with me. I have a new relationship and yes I was open and honest in the beginning im just nervous that this may just be to much and I need to get used to being alone? Ive only been on steroids for 2 days so maybe my CNS is still overdrive but everything just feels so overwhelming and I feel like aside from my best friend no one will want to deal with me. Im hoping posting on here will help me feel less alone.

Hey Krisy Good you confided and was open in your relationship, keep talking. Having your best friend there is so important. The best advice I can give is to stay hopeful and positive.

The first weeks are so intense! You are not too much. You deserve every ounce of love and appreciation! Whoever is not able to be there for you when you most need them, isn't fit to be in your life. You will not be alone. People love to help and love to be kind and love to give. I feel true loneliness is when I am among people who do not appreciate what I being to their life's and luckily, it's easy to spot them. Take good care of your self love. Teach your date how he can support you. He might be happy to show up, if you tell him how would be the best way. Lots of strength to you! 🍀💪🙏
