Denial; shocked; confused;

So I was diagnosed in 2020 after having several seizures! They diagnosed me with epilepsy! They had me do eeg and ct scan and a MRI! When I had a C-section to have my twin girls and they insisted I had the epidural my blood pressure dropped so I refuse to have the spinal tap! The MRI determined that I indeed have MS! They put me on 2 different medications that I clearly took but turned out hated in the long run because they made feel worse. I thought it would just go away! Now I found out just recently that I'm in relapse Ms! I'm now losing weight! My Vitamin D and B are Low and the doctor is wanting to put me on more meds! I'm not sure what to do!! I need advice!! I'm against pills! I have 4 kids a loving husband! I work a part time job! I stay busy! I don't let this disease control me! Please help!!!! Give me some advice!!!

Don’t let it control you, I have 2 kids currently, 13 and 8, I’m still present all the time for their extracurricular activities, I’m still moving around because of that I believe, now in 10 years once my daughter is 18 we’ll see if I slow down

I have 5 kids so I can relate to the being busy. I would take vitamin D3 and B 12 daily. There is lots of evidence that taking D3 lowers activity of MS. So don’t let yourself get low. I am on the Ocrevus infusions which you get every 6 months after the first dose. It has worked well for me. Everyone is different so you may have to try a few to find the right fit for you. Diet is helpful as well. I am on the Mediterranean diet. The gym helps a lot. With kids and can be difficult to find time. I am often the only weirdo in the gym at 1:00 am but I find it truly helps. Pray works wonders. I did not have a hard time with the spinal tap but I know many do.
