I 23 years old
I recently lost vision in my left eye and my doctors think it may be the beginning of MS.
Before that, my body would get numb, and sometimes I had a burning sensation in different parts of my body
I was hospitalized for five days and received 1,000 mg of intravenous steroid pulse therapy each day
I’m scared and would love to connect with others and hear your experiences😕
Hi Kimia, I have MS and was diagnosed in 2016. I have relapsing MS and take Kesimpta. I am currently 56 years old. I want to share my faith with you. I trust that God had a plan for me and for you. He will use our MS testimony to help others. What you are going through is very scary and losing your sight is most likely a relapse if you are diagnosed. I was hospitalized before my diagnosis. 4 MRI’s and a spinal tap confirmed the MS. Where the lesions are is where you will be affected. I have a lesion in my optic nerve and it is causing permanent damage to my right eye. I may eventually go blind for good. But I trust God completely. One thing I want you to know. You can live a long life with the right medication and Trusting in the Lord. I still Work full time However you can reach out anytime. Keep the faith and pray. I will be praying for you. 🙏🏻💕
Hey Kimia. So sorry to hear about your experience and it must feel so scary for you right now. I was diagnosed 1 year ago and also had the steroids tight away, which were really, really scary.
