Using #MSAwarenessWeek to let people know.

Yesterday I was sitting in my greenhouse, having a sit after doing 10 minutes of hoeing, and I thought I’d share my story for MS Awareness Week. I’ve been blown away by the response and the fact that it’s been shared, further raising awareness. I’ve posted it below but you don’t need to watch it, because you know all about the gift that keeps on giving. But do have a think about doing something similar, especially if you’re finding it hard to tell people about your diagnosis. Honestly, it’s really quite cathartic. Hang in there everyone. https://youtu.be/2zlzQWJKvtY?si=CtGmGhbapxKjVGBt

I just got back from a walk and I've been grappling with the idea of sharing my diagnosis with others, I question myself about any and everything. Do you want to let them in...and will they see you different. But I will think about it, maybe this was the push or confirmation I needed. 👍

I found it bizarrely liberating. But I’ve been coming to terms with it and getting comfortable talking about it to close friends (from whom I couldn’t hide it) for a while now. Doing it this way, under the guise of raising awareness, might be a way forward for you. Follow your instinct, you’ll know when the time is right.
