If you’re on any other medications double check you can take a magnesium supplement with it. I am on pregabalin and didn’t know that you shouldn’t take magnesium with it at the same time. I bought a 5 in 1 Magnesium supplement thinking I was being super smart. Turns out you had to take it in the evening because it relaxes you. And so does the pregabalin - taking them both at the same time I ended up literally not being able to move 🤦‍♀️.. I was advised to take the magnesium 2-3 hours before my pregabalin. It can also affect the effectiveness of some medications too. I now take the magnesium after dinner and my other meds before bed.

@SamieC what kind of magnesium? I do take it at night cause it does make me a bit sleepy
