The In Between

So, I’ve been diagnosed but not fully diagnosed if that makes sense. They have found way more lesions in my brain that satisfy the space for the McDonald criteria, and comparison to my MRI from 6 years, they are saying that meets the time criteria. I see my neurologist on Aug 7th and I’m so nervous. So any advice or support is welcome. I’m Jesi btw, 45, mom of 6 and wife. CNA and Unit Clerk from Upstate NY.
@ilovems

Get a second opinion, MRI, spinal tap, the works. If you do have MS at 45 go on aggressive DMT like Ocrevus. Talk to more than one doctor and don’t wait long for a diagnosis.

If you are a mum of 6 you can cope with this. I have so much respect for you! Try not to work yourself up to much. Give yourself time & space to process your diagnosis. It would be a good idea to get a second opinion then take the opportunity of the DMT's available - there was nothing when I was diagnosed so I didn't have that choice. All the best
