I was diagnosed with a neurogenic bladder last year, after lots of testing was completed. This first started when I was diagnosed, but the hospital was dismissive and went onto have further infections. I was taught to self catheterise, which I do 3 times daily unless I go into retention and would then require to do it more frequently. I’m unable to fully empty my bladder and have lost all feeling in my bladder until I go into retention. What did the urologist recommend, as there’s medication you can take to reduce the spasms you’re experiencing.
