@Just officially diagnosed bc of the spinal tap. 28 years ago 1 Dr said I had ms 2 Dr said I did not. The original symptoms went away & I have not any major flair up until June 2025. Confirmed bc of spinal tap. My question is neurologist wants to me on Dimethyl fumarste. My question is should I start any medications since this only the 2nd time I’ve had a major flair? on Shift.ms

Have you had MRI of your brain and ENTIRE Spine I was diagnosed in 2012 and had very few problems at all and the bam this year having flares every 3 months I can't answer that question for you but if I could turn back time I would have started a long time ago!!! Good luck on your journey

Personally I can’t wait to get meds started to prevent things from getting worse. But ultimately is your call
