@Riddle me this, Batman. What is the point of getting an MRI if symptoms worsen? Isn’t it A Plus B equals C, to assume that growing symptoms generally mean advancing MS? If the symptoms are getting worse or new ones show up, wouldn’t that alone be indicitive or a need for a change in meds? on Shift.ms

Hi @JenNM It’s never a simple answer. However, an MRI will give your medical team an understanding of disease activity. If you have new lesions, your MS is active and may help them determine a treatment plan or a DMT to use. My past few MRIs have all shown as stable yet disability has increased, I guess this is what you call progression.

Well, Cat Woman 😬, MRI'S are to track what part of the 🧠, is being affected. As far as I'm aware....this is a progressive condition, its going to....progress, regardless of interventions 🤔🤔💉🧠🤯😵‍💫🙂
