crutches
Hi everyone 👋, I was just wondering if anyone could offer me some advice or encouragement please.
So I have been diagnosed for 5yrs and had a really bad relapse in June this year. I feel a lot better than I did but I still have problems with drop foot (left side) and balance.
My physio has advised me to use two crutches which she has given me now. I know it sounds ridiculous but I'm just finding it really difficult coming to terms with it all my anxiety is through the roof. I see the strange looks I get I know people just don't understand because one day I was fine the next I'm dragging my leg or the comments " have you had a drink today" 🤔.
Sorry about the long rant, and thanktou in advance ❤️
I am in a similar boat! One day my neighbours saw me struggle walk back, two days later I was strutting, next day back to my lovely stick. 🤣 Honestly I was worried about it, but I came to conclusion to not giving a damn what others think or say about me - you live a much more peaceful life. 🫶 I hope you feel less anxious about it soon 🧡
