Muscle spasm advice
I’ve been on this platform for multiple years, just not usually one to post. I felt the need to break that for a useful couple of tips I’ve found through multiple practice attempts.
This post is for heading off muscle spasms in both thr arms and legs. Though these tips work for me, I don’t want to claim them as a definitive solution.
For heading off arm spasms I apply pressure and rotate clockwise on the inner wrist of the affected arm.
For legs, I again rotate my fingers clockwise and apply pressure to my lower spine or tailbone. For each time I’ve tried this technique it has worked. But I can imagine it’s not an exact science.
Muscle spasms have been a problem of mine for years. But this seems to have sorted thr issues. I’d be interested if anyone else found success using these techniques.

Thanks for the tips. Do you also struggle with deep muscle spasticity, like on the hip or spine? I really struggle with these and still have found no means to really ease them...Any tips there? Do you use spasticity medication and if so, what's your experience been with them?
@jona I’m so sorry, as I don’t struggle with any deep muscle spasticity, I can’t say I have any advice. I’m really sorry to hear you suffer in this way. I do use Baclofen, and currently take 50mg a day; 5 lots of 10mg tablets at regular intervals. I found spacing these tablets out, rather than one or two larger doses is beneficial. Also taking one before bed, aids in my ability to sleep uninterrupted.
