Dx in 2020. In Chicago. How do you deal with the heat in Dallas? Chicago of course is apart of the screwed up weather where it was almost 100 degrees 2 weeks ago and now it’s only 90 but in 2 days it will be in the 60’s. Yeah we don’t have global warming. I remember when I was in high school that’s all we joked about.
@jennybarbiems Hey thanks for writing me. I was born and raised in Dallas, played football, and was a football coach until diagnosed. The heat makes me sick now. I'm not sure if anyone else experiences this, but when it's over 90-95 degrees, especially if the humidity is high, I feel like I have the flu and it drains all of my energy even faster than normal. All I want to do is lay on the coach and sleep if I get too hot. It's funny, in the spring and summer time, my body burns a lot more. Feels like the burn from working out, except all over my body. In the late fall and winter, I hurt a lot more, but I am able to be a lot more productive. I don't feel sick either. How about you?
