Fatigue

Well the fatigue has hit me hard! I had a busy weekend. Drove 3 hours to my sisters hen do. Danced the night away and drove back 3 hours home the nexr day. That was monday. Today I cant get out of bed. My feet are tight and achy and I cannot keep my eyes open. I know I should take it easy until my treatment starts but I was determined to go and enjoy the weekend.

It's not that you can't do these things. I've been diagnosed with RRMS for 81 months and, apart from minimal mobility issues, I can still dance the night away for 9 hours if I really want to. 💃🕺 The catch is that MS likes to send the invoice the next day... with interest. 😅 Pacing was a game changer for me. It's not about avoiding life, it's about understanding that today's energy is sometimes borrowed from tomorrow. You absolutely can make memories and enjoy yourself, just be prepared that your body might ask for repayment afterwards. Took me years to learn that lesson. Sometimes the event isn't the problem, it's the recovery bill that arrives the next morning. 💚
