Navigating "the Crap Gap."

I'm due for my next Kesimpta dose on Wednesday. In the past day or two, I have noticed more brain fog, balance issues, visual disturbances, and vision disturbances. I suspect this is just the way my body behaves near the end of a DMT cycle. I also had this problem on Tysabri, though the period of increased symptoms got shorter each cycle and I am just moving from the loading doses to the maintenance with Kesimpta. Does anyone else deal with this temporary increase in symptoms as you approach your next meds? Have you developed strategies (beyond knowing that there may be more of a struggle)? I am frustrated, but not discouraged. I had increased symptoms for almost 2 weeks near the end of my first Tysabri infusion, and those got shorter with subsequent infusions. And this time, my body is acting up only 6-7 days ahead of a new medication...
@loloann

I have been in Kesimpta since August 2025. I do have “the crap gap” 3-5 days prior to my injection date. It took my body a good 4-6 months to adjust, but I have seen where others had a much shorter window of adjustment. I am just happy it’s only a 3-5 day window now!

@Historicus

@loloann thank you! I have done well with Kesimpta so far, but it's early days. If this proves to be a pattern, I can get better at predicting when my body might give me more trouble
