I had to stop Ocrevus after 9 years because I developed an allergy to it. I am currently using Kesimpta, which is also a B cell therapy. It isn't "approved" for PPMS through the FDA so my neurologist had to request an exception so my insurance would pay for it. I have just started it but am already feeling some benefits from it. I'm much better than I was during the year between Ocrevus and Kesimpta. You might ask your doctor if you can try it. It sure beats living with the PPMS symptoms. I was doing so well on Ocrevus and all of a sudden had to stop. Then my symptoms started and I felt like I was going downhill very fast. Kesimpta has lifted me back up and I am more confident that I will be OK again.
@karen51 Iβm sorry to hear that you started reacting poorly to Ocrevus. My second maintenance dose is coming up soon. Iβm gonna keep my fingers crossed that my body continues to accept it π€πΌ
