Between a rock and a hard place

I’ve been on Kesimpta for almost 4 years and its been spot on for me as a DMT. Last year I got diagnosed with microscopic colitis and during a recent flare of that I had a pseudo relapse of MS. My consultant is thinking to take me off Kesimpta and I’m feeling a bit apprehensive about what the alternative might be. Has anyone else experienced complications of a condition on the treatment of another and how have you resolved it, if at all? Any advice appreciated x
@FloridaSpike

I have been on Betaseron, Copaxone, Tecfidera, Ocrevus, and Kesimpta. I had the least side effects with Kesimpta. We often have to switch the DMTs for a variety of reasons. I am sorry you are seeing comorbitities, but it goes with the immunocompromised, and damage from the MS. Do your research on the different meds available, and ask specific questions on the ones you are interested in. Someone on here will have full details, I’m sure! Best of luck, sounds like your docs are keeping a solid eye on you!

@Flennyz Not yet. But i did allowed of research and consideration before I started Kesimpta and my plan is that if I find myself in your shoes I will take Mavenclad.
