@ So I went out yesterday to make Mary with all friends and family, I put on a brave smile, and I just sat down. Any movement I made like to go to the bathroom or stand up for a second was quickly sorted by nine relatives asking me if I need any help . I have a great support group and I love them all, but sometimes I just wanna stand up to see where I’m at physically. I hope everybody else has a good support group too. This journey is too arduous to complete alone. on Shift.ms

I understand you completely. I told my dad and husband that I have MS and love the help but I can still do thus on my own. I do appreciate that everyone wants to help. I am not incapable just occasionally need minor help. My MS has decided(after 31yrs) to start moving down my cervical spine and it was suggested to switch from AVONEX to twice a day pills of Tecfidera. What do you think about Tecfidera?

I think a useful phrase would be, “ I would really appreciate your help and support, when I request it, Thankyou so much for understanding that being independent sometimes means being able to ask for help at times when I need it. “ It’s a polite and positive way of saying ‘stop feckin’ fussing.
