Feeling well with MS

Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if there are others living with MS who feel essentially symptom-free and are able to live a normal life? I’ve had many active lesions in the past, a couple of relapses and I’m currently on DMT, but day-to-day I feel well. I’m extremely grateful to feel okay, but I still carry this fear that things could deteriorate in the future. It would really help to hear from anyone in a similar position about what your thoughts are. Thank you!

I am basically symptom free, only had optic neuritis a year ago and the eye is now back to normal, about 98 percent. I'm grateful, but i also sometimes feel like the whole thing is a hoax, but doctors disagree. Sometimes I blame this disease for minor inconveniences, but really I'm lucky and well for now. I'm in my 40's, so I'm hopeful that I can still have many good years ahead, but sometimes it does worry me. A lot.

I had a really bad start a year ago. Had numbness in my legs, weakness, couldn’t drive or care for myself, balance issues. But now I’m doing so much better. I’m in physical therapy, on a DMT, and I live a relatively normal life and am pretty much symptom free. I have my rough days but other than that I feel extremely healthy and well! Sometimes I may get some fatigue but MS isn’t running my life. I get worried that when I go to have children I’ll have a bad relapse but I have high hopes!
