I think that’s the pure lack of understanding to be fair. When I first got told I had it I was terrified. Could barely walk and completely reliant on my family. Now I swim most days walking is so much better do Pilates which is hilarious as I am so bad at this but still do it. Did they know you before the diagnosis if so they need to get educated if not educate them. A friend of mine asked me was I pissed when I first got back walking. Idiot, no longer a friend. Another asked would I be in a wheel chair I asked will you? She said what do you mean I said you could have an accident and end up in a wheel chair none of us know for sure how our story develops. I just got out of a 6 year relationshipwith the mother of my child. People try to pray on your illness like your f****** retarded I'm not dating anyone else I love being single I'm in control of my own life I don't have anyone trying to tell me what to do.
