My MS Neurologist tried me on a low dose of Modafinil last month to help with fatigue and focus. I took a half pill first thing in the morning. I really didn't notice any improvement, however, I woke up several times through the night and I could not get warm. I was shivering. The next day, I started getting hot flashes and my face was very flushed. I felt like my face was on fire. After 4 days, I couldn't handle the side effects. It took about 4 days to stop waking up several times a night and for my body to not go from the extremes of being too hot or too cold. The symptoms seemed worse than the fatigue! Anyone else have this happen?
