Brain fog and forgetfulness?
Does anyone suffer with bad brain fog? How about forgetting words and recent things?
Everyday objects, names of people I know well and communicate with several times a week, are things that just disappear out of my head. Sometimes I can describe things well enough to get someone to guess what I'm talking about (like a spatula or spoon), sometimes the word in a sentence will come to me before a conversion is over. Sometimes I have to just apologize that I can't recall a person's name. It's gotten a lot worse over the last couple of years. At first, I was told it was a long covid symptom. However, since I had optic neuritis in February, and was diagnosed with MS after an MRI in April, its gotten much worse. Worse to the point that I don't know if I could hold down a full time job anymore. I was a school teacher. I volunteer now and have a somewhat flexible schedule.
Can anyone relate?

Good day that is pretty common. It’s frustrating at times but, don’t stress it. I take my time and sometimes what i forgot will just come back to me.
This happens a lot. I will be talking and completely “forget” the word I want to say/ use. It’s very frustrating and upsetting at times. One day I had to get some hair things and I’m in the store and for the life of me I could not remember “mousse” 🤦🏼♀️😔 it was very upsetting to me and I beat myself up over it and I shouldn’t do that 🫣
