Recently Diagnosed!
Hi everyone! You can call me Cole(: I was recently diagnosed with MS and working through the "what comes next" as this life has been a struggle.
Weirdly, no matter how much I try to educate my friends on MS none really understand. Some even compare it to mental health issues even though it's not on any level...
I recently moved into my boyfriend's, who is very supportive and now I'm trying to figure out the rest. I was a flight attendant and my eyes now are at the point I don't feel comfortable driving (even after treatment). My entire world was travel so learning this new life has been weird.
Anyway, excited to meet others(: Thanks for listening to my ramble.

Welcome. My vision gives me a lot of issues too.
Welcome I’m so sorry we have to welcome you into this group. You’ll find many helpful people and really good advice. Dr. Aaron Boster has a wonderful YouTube video for friends and family to help them understand what we deal with on a minute to minute basis. Stay hydrated, take B12 and Vitamin D3, make sure to have good bladder health, getting UTI’s is really bad for people with MS. Rest when your body tells you to rest. Stay out of heat as much as possible that includes hot showers. It’s amazing that you have an understanding boyfriend, you’re going to need him at times 💕
