@Hello everyone 😊. A little about myself. I was diagnosed with MS (after experiencing a few different symptoms (🤔maybe in a period of 3 months or so 🤷🏼‍♀️). This happened November 2008 at the age of 30. After being discharged from the hospital, I went to see a neurologist who started me on daily injections. I don’t recall too much, however I remember the Dr telling me newly diagnosed patients will have a relapse in about 2 years. I was on injections (which injections 🤷🏼‍♀️) less than a year (due to insurance). About 2-3 years later, I again have insurance. I recall hearing anything you take or do to yourself can trigger your “MS”. So because of that, I refused to be back on meds/injections. My way of thinking (maybe not the healthiest) was “It’s been close to 4 years and I haven’t had a relapse or suffered from it. Fast forward ➡️, almost 16 years later I have never experienced anything to do with MS since the time I was diagnosed. I’ve doubted (and still do) of my diagnostic was correct. A few years ago I had some tests done on me and according to Dr- I still show cloudy patches bla bla bla. I’m very thankful and blessed with myself but I’ve also wished and prayed MS didn’t exist. Boy …your story sounds a lot like mind. I was was only 30 when I had my first ugly beginning symptoms . I was finally diagnosed in 1978…at Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn. Doctors leaned to the fact that I had the Swine Flu shot in 976 along with a shot I was given (I had Rh ..negative blood) and when I gave birth I was given this shot plus the flu shot at the same time. They felt that it could have been from those 2 shots reactions….and thus resulted in MS. I do remember being told that Iwould more than likely be in a wheelchair within a couple of years. The leasions on my brain were many. I said okay…I have 4 kids. Youngest not even 2. I was and still an a Tough Cookie. I have Ms but Ms doesn’t have me. Anyway not so far…and I’m 78. Been some real hard times…but I’m taking it day by day. I live alone…lost my husband 9 years ago. I have many great friends. I live in a 55+ community. Most important piece of my life is Gid. He is my strength and my savior! 🙏😇
