Tysabri to Ocrevus
Been on Tysabri for 10 years and my consultant has just suggested I change to Ocrevus. I’ve been relapse free on Tysabri, so I’m wary of changing. However, the lesser PML risk is something to consider. Has anyone changed to Ocrevus? How did it go? Do you get any side effects?

Good evening. I haven't done this transition myself but believe it's not uncommon and typically done to mitigate PML risk when JC count goes high and/or Lymp count goes low. I've watched Aaron Boster videos about stopping Tysabri and there used to be an issue with people having massive relapses a few months later. However neurologists have become wise to this and if the MS is hit hard by a high efficacy drug soon after stopping Tysabri then this is usually prevented. He advises Ocrevus is thus a good replacement due to its potency. https://youtu.be/VCSKkSwhZDE?si=Rf26feJCSo0LC0EK https://youtu.be/nMVmJh12SZA?si=pKwKel_YKdMwpfPP
@RC83 Thanks so much for this!
