Had my first infusion today. Nurses were all lovely, long day but no side affects yet save for a bit of restless leg. Currently 5hrs post infusion. Arrived at 8.30 am had 2 paracetamol, an anti histamine and some steroids, then the briumvi infusion for about 5hrs and then another liquid I fusion for half an hour but not checked what that was. We took snacks and drinks but we're also offered food, water and hot drinks. I found drinking lots of water helped. Takeaway treat tonight and sat on the sofa now watching some telly. All in all, nothing to be scared of, had a urine sample and a blood sample and as I opted to take part in research for briumvi I also did a walking speed test and a functional one where I was putting wooden pegs in holes and removing them again to a timer. Anyway hope this post helps someone else who is entering the unknown have a bit more detail.
