Optic Neuritis

The vision in my left eye has been blurred and has only been getting worse. When I was diagnosed with MS it was because of optic neuritis bringing me first into the eye doctor. My issue I have now is that I don’t currently have a neurologist, and the soonest I can get in for an appoinment with one is 4/2. Where should I go or do you all think it’s ok if I wait until then to be seen?
@TNita

I lost vision in one eye many years ago. My friends father advised me to go to Charity Hospital. That was a study hospital years ago. The young intern was determined to find out the cause of my vision lost. I remember him mentioning MS as a possible problem. My sight came back and I discontinued my visits. I was in my early 20’s. I was diagnosed with MS in my 50’s when my body start to slowly breakdown. I suggest going to your nearest research hospital. They will help you.

@Enginerd

I would definitely see someone. I had classic ocular neuritis in my left eye causing my diagnosis. They say you won’t get it in the same ey again because it’s already been damaged. I watch my right eye very carefully. I didn’t know at the time and had to go to the Emergency Department for diagnosis, treatment, and steroids. I was in Boston and live in WA state. It was scary and insane. I’d go to the Emergency department if no neurologist will see you now in case it’s a flare. I’m no doctor or medical (I’m a pharm tech lol and engineer). Or call any other neurologist offices and see if they can squeeze you in for possible relapse or symptoms.
