Walking poles

Hi I was diagnosed with PPMS 23/02/2020 just before lockdown occurred. I've been advised to use walking poles to help with what I would call my drunk walk going from 1 side of the pavement to the other. Does anyone else use walking aids and how easy are they to get used to using. Any advice would be appreciated on what walking poles to purchase.
@royt

I use a full on walker or rollator. Tried to use just a cane before and fell so just went full on walker. Then just recently got a rollator tho havnt really used it much yet

@BrendaD I used to use a walking stick, but had quite a few falls with it. Saw a Neuro-Physiotherapist and she tried me with a crutch. Alot more supportive, feel safer and more stable using it. Plus has all the benefits of people assuming that you've just hurt your leg in some exciting accident! 😆 My crutch was very easy to get used to using. The only annoying aspect is it getting in the way, when you need both hands for something.
