Medications
I’m new and awaiting to see the neurologist. I’m on zero medication. If they prescribe me one, does it actually help?

Hello and welcome. Firstly sorry you're potentially joining us x The thing with MS meds (called DMTs - disease modifying treatments)is that the idea of them is to stop or reduce further progression. They can't remove any damage that is already there. Some people do note that some symptoms might improve and some lesions might shrink in size and that kind of thing, but sadly no DMT is going to actually make you "better" as such.
I am on Ocrevus and it definitely helps. I would start taking vitamin D3 and B12. No prescription needed and very helpful. The gym also helps. Welcome to the club.
