Do people make you feel as though you're playing on your MS?

My mum works for me as a PA and I said to her the other day how I wish I still knew how to be an accountant. She said she'd struggle to do her old job because it's been a while. I tried to explain to her that I've seen a neuropsychologist for quite a few appointments and he said my brain can't recall things how it did, it's a lot slower and won't be able to do what I used to. I asked him if I can learn again and he said I can learn small bits, it will take me a lot longer and it can't be anything complex, it can only be basic stuff. She didn't listen and it upset it. I get little digs from other members of my family about me not working etc and I don't know how to cope with it 😞

The general feeling I get is that no-one gives a crap that I have it, especially at work.

As hard as it is at times can’t let them rain on your parade. Life is already hard enough don’t need others adding more negative thoughts. You know your truth and if they can’t see that then that’s on them.
