Disease progression no new lesions?
I’m newly diagnosed and just beginning to learn about living with MS. I just learned that you can have disease progression even with no new lesions. I am wondering how many people here have delt with that? I have a significant lesion load in my brain and spine and I am not sure what that means. I know everyone’s experience is different but I would be interested in knowing best/worst case scenarios and my doctor won’t really say anything besides we have to wait and see.
I don’t have experience with that, but welcome to this forum and to this new world. Those words “significant lesion load” are not the ones you want to hear. Nothing can prepare you. But you are obviously kicking ass and showing up for yourself. Great question and I hope you get some much needed perspective and much deserved support. ❤️
Hey! Welcome! I'm in the camp of little new lesions with progression doc explained it's just one of those things that happen that we really can't explain. It could be where the lesions are that affect progression. Hopefully you get some more answers maybe better ones😉. 💪🧡
