Work question
Anyone had difficulty with there work in terms of time off sick? I’m worried about the future.
I’m currently on month two of being signed off and they know why. Having seen how they operate with other people I’m getting the strong gut feeling they will try to find a way of letting me go.
Then what do I do?
I recognise I may also be over thinking the situation and reading into things too much but my gut says other things
I'm also on month 2 of being off sick. Obviously some of it will depend on your work's sickness procedure. But they should be making reasonable adjustments for you to be able to work. If you're in the UK you're protected my the Equality Act. You could sue them for a lot if they tried to get rid of you due to sickness related to your MS.
Are you a member of a union? Do you have house insurance which may also include legal insurance which covers employment issues? It's worth checking & giving them a call - I had an issue with an employer & my house insurance was very helpful when I rang & gave me great advice
