Hello. I live in Texas. You will need a doctor to prescribe medication other than over the counter medications. Do you have a Neurologist here?

Also if you have Medical insurance through an employer or a spouse’s employer, your insurance can recommend a doctor. Each insurance plan has different specifications and requirements for coverage, it’s good to find out from the insurance company what they are. If no insurance you can look online for a doctor in your area. I don’t know if an Urgent care can write such a prescription but you could call one and find out if they can. I would just call them and ask before making and paying for an appointment. I hope this information helps a little.
