Hi team, I’ve heard you can apply for a disability Oyster card to get free underground and 1/3 off an all rail with a disability national rail card? Has anybody got this? If so, do you have to be on PIP to receive this?!? Thanks in advance x

Hi, ye. My ms nurse told me about it. You can’t apply online unless you fit one of the categories on the website. However, I emailed them my proof and then filled in the downloadable form which I posted and they sent me the railcard. Hope that helps.

As @JSB006 has said above. Email National Rail specifying that you are applying for a disabled rail card but that MS is not listed, they’ll ask for proof of diagnosis but after that they’ll send you your railcard. Which as well as giving you 1/3 off, it also gives anyone you’re travelling with the same 1/3 off. Not sure about the underground but if so, I need one of those!
