💗 One year since my MS diagnosis 💗

Today marks one year since I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS, and it’s made me stop and reflect on the last 12 months. I don’t think you can ever fully prepare yourself for a diagnosis like this or how much you have to learn and adapt along the way. It’s been a year of appointments, starting treatment, learning about my symptoms and figuring out my new normal. Some days have been harder than others, and there have been times when I’ve felt frustrated, overwhelmed and just needed a little breather from everything. It’s not always easy trying to balance work, everyday life and managing a condition that can be so unpredictable. But life carries on, and you learn to take things one day at a time. I’m still me, still making plans, working towards my goals and trying new things (I’ve even started yoga! 🧘‍♀️). If this last year has taught me anything, it’s to give myself a little more patience, listen to my body and remember that I don’t have to do everything at once. I’m grateful for the people I’ve connected with along the way, especially those who understand what living with MS can be like. Sometimes just knowing you’re not alone makes such a difference. 💗 One year down, still learning, still adapting and taking each day as it comes. ❤️
