After flu jab.. 😔😔

I’m just looking for a bit of support and reassurance tonight. I had my flu jab on Tuesday and today I’ve been feeling really tired and drained, with heavy legs and tingling in my right arm and fingers. I’ve had relapses before, and this feels similar to how I felt last time. I’m home now and just feeling exhausted and a little worried. Has anyone else noticed their existing MS symptoms becoming more noticeable after their flu jab? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.

@Angie03...MS by definition is an inflammation of the body. The flu vaccine is a small amount of the virus to "wake up" the immune system and make it aware what to specifically prevent from becoming a full fledge sickness. It manifests differently for any person since we are unique. In summary you added a small of controlled inflammation (flu vaccine) on top of the whole body inflammation (MS). I, personally, will not get the flu vaccine shot. It's my choice. I don't want to abuse my body with unnecessary chemicals. Good Luck!!!

@well well well

I got the vaccine yesterday and am resting to offset any trouble. Also drinking a lot of water, eating well, keeping stress low. My symptoms don’t remit so, my goal is to not exacerbate the wellness I do have. I hope you don’t get sick. It’s a trade off I guess as I really can’t handle flu but this gap between the shot and how my body will react is a weird space, good luck to you.
